THOMMO MASTER CHALLENGE

"History has shown us that prestigious tournaments like the British Open often start off as an arena for friendly and fair competition amongst the noble gentry. I have had the pleasure and good fortune of winning the Open on five occasions and despite nearing its centennial edition, it still proudly maintains its grandeur and tradition that befits its standing as the finest tournament in the world.

The Thommo Masters, or the Thommo Titanium Challenge as it had been known in previous years, I am pleased to say, was initiated along similarly modest but wholehearted objectives. This tournament series is intended to be an invigorating arena where golfers from different walks of life from the Tan Sris to the teachers, the low handicappers to the occasional Sunday golfers, can all come together to engage in friendly competition all for the love of golf. I strongly believe that golf offers a unique mental challenge that transcends cultures and I am happy to note that the Thommo Masters has progressed along the noble spirits.
